Why is that a tough concept? Reason > Politics . seems fairly straight forward to me.
Blows my mind. The level to which folks will turn a blind eye to simple, seemingly obvious, issues, like say, Violating the Constitution, the Bill of rights, the foundation documents of our alledged rule of Law, and jump through repetitive hoops, to remain loyal to a Political Party.
Recently, our non elected Executive in charge was discovered violating our Rule Of Law. Once exposed, he went on the record to say "yea..I did it, and I'll keep doing it too". And the people that continue to buy into the rhetoric of the "War on Terror", the Republicans are the "conservatives", and lots more of obvious lies, have done nothing but fabricate hoops to jump through for themselves to rationalize this treachery.
Good God.
What happened to the claim of a "restoration of Integrity?" Remember all the cries of the rule of law being utmost important when they caught the last criminal up to some illicit sex? Clinton played this game, bending words, and definitions, to somehow rationalize and justify his crimes, and mind you, the sex thing was the least of them. All the republicans were outraged, and spoke to rule Of Law, and the need for integrity, etc, and yet, now, where is the difference?
Have we been so dumbed down by intentionally poor educational systems, that people just can't see the obvious? Have we finally, as a Nation, embraced the concept of "Think what we tell you to" as opposed to Think for yourselves? Apparently. The powers that be ( both sides of the imaginary asile ) have been so successful at diverting this nation from truth to disception, that we will continue to wave the flag, while they burn down the very foundation of the Liberty they so frequently talk about in their rhetoric.
I don't care what BS justification you come up with, or what paid for "expert" you use to substantiate your position. The Constitution, and the Bill of rights, really isn't that complex, or that difficult to read and understand.
4th Amendment
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
I just, for the life of me, can't see how a person with even half a mind, can't see that it's pretty darn clear. You want to search my private things, you need a warrant. Any time someone accesses my privacy without a warrant, they have plainly violated the Law.
How does criminal's party affiliation enter this anyway?
Wake up folks, this Represntitive Republic is not a easy thing to hang onto, and there are those that seek to destroy it all around us. We are charged with the responsibility of educating ourselves, for prosecuting those that violate the simple laws, and protecting what we have.
